Sea Life Center - More The Avila Beach Marine Institute/Sea Life Center is a nonprofit educational support organization dedicated to providing children, their parents and educators with unique opportunities to be delighted and amazed by the ocean, its inhabitants, its uses, its history and its importance to mankind.

Golf - More The Avila Beach Golf Resort is the most well known of the Central Coast Golf Courses.  The resort includes a par 71, 6500-yard championship course. The front nine is situated within oak-lined valleys. The back nine transverses a tidal estuary. Golfers of all abilities will enjoy the challenge of this scenic course.

Shopping - More Avila beach is the home to some truly unique shops. Gift shops, apparel, wine and much more most are located in the walkable downtown area.

Marine & Sea - More Altogether there are three piers in Avila Beach, two of them public. It's fun to walk out to the end of the pier where we enjoyed watching the surfers and dockside anglers while also taking in the spectacular views of the shoreline

Avila Hot Springs - More Enjoy a warm welcome at Avila Hot Springs, the gateway to Avila Beach, located just off Highway 101. Among its offerings, are an Olympic-sized freshwater heated swimming pool with double slide, and a separate, old-fashioned 20' x 20' hot mineral soaking pool.

Avila Valley Barn - More Among locals, a smile forms on the face when Avila Valley Barn is mentioned. It is a favorite spot to stop off and get ice cream on the way to or from Avila Beach, to buy the freshest fruit and vegetables grown locally, pick up a bakery treat or gift item, or just to take the kids to visit our farm pets or go for a hay ride and pick fresh produce for the first time.
